Screen is bright and vibrant, but voltage range is between 2.4v and reasonable 3.8v. While not as wide a range as a Uni Pro (2.0-4.2) or the Uni Pro 2.0 (1.8-4.2) it is a perfectly servicable range of voltages. The Shiv has a very robust weight to it and it completely conceals the cartridge when not in use.
