Mossberg 340 magazine issue. I recently acquired a 340BB that has a magazine issue. The exterior looks good showing no abuse. No scratches or wear spots & the lips look good with bluing undisturbed. I have one which has been shot a little, with a good lot of ammo it should easily better 1/2" at 50 yards and equal or only barely exceed 1" at 100 yards, not a fan of the magazine or ejection system but overall they are excellent rifles. After yesterdays PRS match I pulled out my Vudoo Single Shot and did some plinking at 180 and 300 yards with it. Hitting egg sized rocks on the backstop at 180 was too easy. Added in a fitsfull of elevation and started beating up a 5-6 inch plate at 300 yards.

Apparently, after Googling this to death, the only alternative for a peep sight on the 457 is the Skinner. From Skinner's photos it looks like it shouldn't interfere with the bolt handle when mounted at the rear of the receiver, but I'd like confirmation of that from someone who has actually installed the Skinner on a 457.
