I killed deer out of it, but it is clunky, heavy, not very mobile, compared to a Cruzer OR any other similar saddle. Seems like an enormous step backwards having used it AND several more recent saddles. In a tree stand, you lose essentially 5-7 on the shot behind you. For me, without moving around the tree, I essentially lose 4-6. Same in soft saddle. Advantage of saddle or hybrid is that you can maneuver around tree to open that shot. I got one of the first few hybrids made. I used the hybrid 50/50 with other saddles that first season. Last year, about 80/20. This year I used a hang on for two hunts, hybrid for the rest. I average a few miles per day in the field during hunting season. I hunt in multiple locations, weather conditions, and topography.
