I think, for the sake of extra freedom and build creativity, corruption of perks should be optional. One of the most obvious examples in favor of this is the Mule kick perk. There is no way to keep it at exactly 20% permanently, as you can always gain more (up to a maximum of 50%) but you can keep it from dropping below that. Corrupt 8 points of attributes with the orbs you can get from the sacrificial table.
