Even at lower levels with squeamish, you power up fast enough that food and water don't matter, and past those lower levels you should always have enough food on you.

Progression focused boons are bad in general , since verse 2 experienced players can power 20 a slot in one sitting. After which autodidact and maverick become useless. Autodidact is bad on itself and only has a few niche uses (farming echoes can come to mind) it allows you to gain investments points in certain attributes before reaching the xp cap for it.If you're looking for boons and flaws, I usually go Autodidact + Maverick, but Marauder is also good if you're a PVP player. For flaws, I always go Vegetarian + Obvious. NEVER GO SIMPLE - it's a massive debuff and you'll regret it a lot. Obvious is barely noticeable in game, and vegetarian is barely a flaw.
